Spinning wheel, eLearning doesn't load - Firefox

By default, current versions of Firefox block all autoplaying media with sound. This behavior prevents our eLearning content from loading properly, resulting in an endless loading animation.

Pictured above is an example of the loading animation.

You will need to manually allow Audio and Video in the Firefox browser in order to view the course. To do this, you can use one of the methods below.

Always allow media autoplay

To always allow autoplay for all media with audio or video:

1. Click the menu button (located in the top right of the screen) and select Settings.
2. Select the Privacy & Security panel and go down to the Permissions section
   (or enter autoplay in the Find in Settings search box).

3. Click the 'Settings…' button next to Autoplay.
4. Use the Default for all websites drop-down menu to select how you want Firefox to handle media autoplay for all websites. To enable course access select 'Allow Audio and Video'

5. After you have made your selection, click Save Changes.
6. Navigate back to your course and refresh the page.

The setting you select will apply to all media for all websites, except for specific autoplay site settings.

Site settings

When Firefox is actively blocking media on a website, you'll see a special icon in the address bar. Click that icon to open the Site Information drop-down panel, where you can change the Autoplay please follow the below steps:

1. Click the Autoplay icon which is located to the left of the browsers website address bar.
2. Website permission settings will be displayed.
3. Using the Autoplay drop-down, select Allow Audio and Video.
4. Click anywhere in the browsers white space to close the permission settings.
5. You will now be able to view and complete your online training.
